I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I received my PhD in Economics from UCLA. I previously worked at the Bank of Japan as an economist.

I work on firm heterogeneity in macroeconomics and international economics, with a focus on firm-to-firm transaction networks, misallocation, and growth. I am also interested in welfare and inflation measurement under income- and wealth-dependent preferences.
